I grew up in Japan in the 70's as an American in the Takamiyama era, and my family have all been hooked since. While growing up, I probably spent more time sumo wrestling with my brother than all other sports put together, and had my fair share of sumo injuries too. For the last 15 years, I've had so few friends/family with whom to talk about sumo; finding the SML was a real treat!
