Maybe that is one of the reasons that he retired so early. Since he had a
history of yaochos, he retired before tying the yusho record. If he
continued on and tied the record, he would have pissed off the former Taiho
yokozuna as well as the sumo kyokai. Just a thought, but do I truly believe
this?
Actually no. I think Chiyonofuji is quite an honourable man and I respect
him very much. Therefore I don't believe in the rumours surrounding his
yaocho bouts.
