More Shikona stuff!

Hi all,

Hinerikeri here! Just thought I'd try and get a little action going on the
list by providing a topic. I must admit that I have an purpose behind this
post as well. I'm trying to make a page on my web site that will help new
members (maybe old members too) in helping them chose a Shikona. I would
like to use some of them as examples in the text for the web page. So, what
I would like for everyone to do is to state what your shikona is and how you
came about picking the name. I know of quite a few that could use some
explaining, possibly mine as well. So, I'll start by explaining how mine
came to be.

I wanted to use my name in my shikona so I started looking through my sumo
books hoping to find a sumo term that would flow well with Keri. Well, I
ran across hineri (twisting) and I knew that I had found the one. But I
took it one step further and I actually tried to find out if Keri might mean
something in japanese. I broke out the jisho (dictionary) found that keri
sounded similar to a word that means "through with" or "done with". So
hinerikeri loosely translates to "done with twisting" or my interpretation
"done with going in circles".

There you have it!
