I still believe that each wrestler wants to win. To help prove to me that
any one wrestler is truly great, I would like to see each wrestler face (and
hopefully defeat) anyone (regardless of heya affiliation) near him in rank.
I think that people can compete against each other on the dohyo and still
respect each other off-the-dohyo.
Nothing to do with respect-it's a question of honor-try looking at it from that
viewpoint. They CANT, it's impossible..These guys live together and some were
the otjer's tsukebito, for crying out loud..Well, I really can't seem to explain
to you guys how fundamentally wrong you are. The only thing I can suggest-run
this by a rikishi-(not a couch rikishi like us with our Western notions ) and
see what happens.

No comparison of course, as there are no trades between Heya. You start and
finish in the same heya, you know that, so where's the beef?
