I've heard that this unluck 4 business is slowly changing, along with 
unlucky even numbers.  For example, it used to be that you couldn't give 
20,000 yen for a wedding because 2 was bad luck, but today you can.  See 
things even change in Japan, heck, pretty soon we've have naked men and 
women fightin' on the dohyo (ooops AV video flashback there, sorry)!
