Re: [sumo] [games] Final Results May 1999 Upside Down Hoshitori &Sumo Sexism

After all the recent discussion don't know how I could have been so
presumptious. Just had it pointed out that Ekigozan-zeki could be a she
(must have been that Rijicho spirit entering my body).

Thinking in reverse for an upsidedown hoshitori, if Ekigozan is female is
the following order the accepted ritual for the cyber dohyo?

(1) reconsecrate dohyo
(2) step down from dohyo
(3) give back all prizes
(4) step up to dohyo
(5) walk backwards down the hanamichi
(6) reconsecrate dohyo before each unlost bout
(7) unlose 15 bouts by jumping up to dohyo from defeated position and
grappling with your opponent until they finish with a tachiai and start
putting salt back into a basket
(8) unconsecrate dohyo
(9) give back old banzuke

Sorry, I do try to understand those often ambiguously applied rules of the
Cyber Sumo Kyokai, but given the enigmatic basis of the culture of the
scattered archipelago of islands from where that mail list is derived, I
find it tricky to pin down sometimes, let alone apply my own cultural
biases towards it. I suppose I can still live in hope that my therapy at
the keyboard and sharing it with a lot of people similarly interested in
Cyber Sumo may in some small way effect to change it though. ;-)

Those that don't know don't care. Those that do, wish they didn't.

Forgive me am trying to avoid doing a difficult experiment at work.

Cheers, Pete.
