Re: Waka Kyujo?



As long as you have two Ozeki in Banzuke, you won't see any Yokozuna-Ozeki
titles with any Yokozuna. For Nagoya, Takanonami will be at Higashi Ozeki and
Chiyotaikai will be at Nishi Ozeki. That means no need to have a
Yokozuna-Ozeki.

If Chiyotaikai failed to reach 8th win, and no new Ozeki is promoted after
Nagoya-basho, then there will be a Yokozuna-Ozeki for Aki-basho that that will
be the second best Yokozuna based on the Nagoya-basho record. He will be Nishi
Yokozuna-Ozeki.
