[SUMO spoiler] yusho rikishi - lower divisions
Among the lower four divisions, three rikishi are only waiting for the
official ceremony with perfect 7-0 records, except for Jonidan division.
The following list shows the names of yusho rikishi.
Makushita
Ms9e Kaishinzan (Tomozuna-beya) 176 cm 140 kg
former Juryo Sentoryu, Henry Armstrong from Sent Lous, Missouri, USA
birth: July 16, 1969
first basho: 1988 Nagoya
Sandamme
Sd31w Takegaki (Tatsutagawa-beya) 180 cm 133 kg
from: Noda, Chiba-ken
birth: Oct. 10, 1977
first basho: 1993 Haru
Jonokuchi
Jk12e Kaihakuzan (Tomozuna-beya) 188 cm 155 kg
Former Korean style professional sumo wrestler from Korea. This is his
first basho on banzuke.
birth: Aug. 15, 1976
first basho: 1999 Haru
Each of them will be promoted to the next level for Nagoya-basho.
There are three rikishi unbeaten with idential 7-0 records in Jonidan
division.
44e Wakasuruga (Ohnomatsu-beya)
85w Asashohryu (Wakamatsu-beya)
145w Toyoizumi (Tokitsukaze-beya)
They will participate the yusho tomoe-sen in Senshuraku. Asashohryu is a
Korean rikishi graduated from Japanese high school in Shikoku.
