Hehe, then that means the only basho I was in Japan for (and which I
watched nearly everyday-quickly becoming addicted) was the first one with
English commentary.  I just assumed that was normal ;-).  I still remember
the day when one of the announcers passed on a tsunami warning and the
other announcer responded by asking if that was a hurricane.  I couldn't
stop laughing about that one (since tsunami is a part of the ordinary
English vocabulary, at least where I grew up in California, who would have
thought an English speaking announcer would not know what a tsunami
was--much less when they are broadcasting on a Japanese station!).
