A question


I asked this a while ago but have either missed or not seen an answer
yet.  Is there anyone on the list who can explain why Tamanishiki;
according to the NSK page, changed beya in the middle of his rise to
yokozuna.
His first four yusho were all won for Nishonoseki beya.  As a sekiwake
in '29, then won 3 consecutive basho as an ozeki in '30, and '31.  Some
time between the March '31 and Summer '32 he switched to Kumegawa beya.
That basho, he won his fifth yusho (as ozeki).  In the Summer '33 basho,
he won his first at yokozuna and last for Kumegawa beya.  He then went
back to Nishonoseki beya and won his last three yusho there.
Is there anyone here who can explain this change in beya in the middle
of his career and then switching back again?  bye
