[Amateur Sumo] Kato Joins Azumazeki Beya

Another Nihon University Sumo Club member is joining a sumo heya.
Fourth year student, amateur yokozuna Seiken Kato has decided to join
Azumazeki Beya - he became the first university student to join the
heya.  

Kato (187 cm, 140 kg) has won the All Japan Sumo Championship last
year. He is one year junior of Juryo Hayateumi. There are two other
superb fourth year students currently attending "Nichidai", amateur
yokozuna Tamiya and Takahama who will probably soon be joining a heya.
Kato will debut at Haru basho from Makushita 'tsukedashi' rank.

Azumazeki oyakata had no immediate comment. 

There must be over 30 sumo rikishis from Nihon University by now -
Mainoumi, Tomonohana, Kaiho, Hamanoshima, Higonoumi, Ohinode,
Daishofu...aside from Hayateumi and his oyakata..now retired
Kushimaumi and of course Wajima.
