Anjinbono Speaks

Hello all,

First of all I would like to thank Totoro for a wonderful job handling
the hoshitori, I was introduced to Sumo back in 1989 while I was stationed
in Hawaii, and have followed it ever since as much as I could. I moved to
Washington in 1994 and if it was not for this list, I would be hurting
indeed. I was able to go to the 1993 Grand Sumo Tournament in Hawaii and
was even interviewed by Nippon Television Network...(a story in it self,
which I will tell later, now that I have broken my mailing list silence) I
have many clips from the Star bulletin that I have kept while I followed
sumo. Sumo is a great passion of mine, I love it.
Next, I would like to thank Andrew Carten for his wonderful donation of a
Banzuke and Sumo Diary, I have always wanted a banzuke (cannot read a lick
of it <G>) but It is going to be framed and make a wonderful addition to my
home office. The diary is great, with wonderful pictures and everything.
Lots of stuff for a sumo buff like myself, if only I could read it!!!!
I would love to start collecting tegata, and would very much appreciate any
help that any of you can give.

Finally, I would like to say that winning the Totoro Cup is great and I will
promise to humbly try my very best to win another.
