Re: [Rikishi News]Ganyu marries
Hmmm.... Although Ganyu 's last performance (3-12) will drop him to a
level where he could normally do well, it has been my observation that
newlyweds seem to do poorly their first time out after tying the knot. I
don't have an explanation for this. In fact, the statistics may not
actually support my observation, but let's see how the Rock Man does in
January.
I just returned from 8 days in Canada -- Toronto and Saint John, NB. I
met Joe Kuroda and Bob Reimer for a very nice dinner in Toronto. It was
great to talk sumo with fellow cyber-rikishi. The mighty Kintaro is
having some difficulty getting around these last few weeks, as I have a
cast on my left leg (just like Wakanosato... ugghh!). My story is I broke
it during a "full contact curling" contest. You should have seen the
other guys. :-)
