I thought of the same thing when after one of the Wakanohana matches
which he *won*, people threw zabutons around at the Kyushu.  I don't
think it's anything special or worthwhile to throw the cushion when
the Yokozunas lose so often and at a regular interval. 

Everyone expects Takanohana to lose a match or two earlier on and
Wakanohana to lose a few at the end.  And Akebono has a few rikishis
he seems to lose more often than not.  It's no longer an upset when a
Yokozuna loses one or two matches.       

It's either more competitve or mediocrity.
