Sumo world championships

NHK has the Asian games, just like 4 years ago. As the Yomiuri news page
has the most info, they seem to be sponsors.
If their TV-channel 4, Nihon TV is doing the coverage, that should be
proof. But I can't find anything about it yet in the Nikkan TV page.

Some results (most names re-translated from Katakana, so no hint at the
real form):

Day 1:

light weight: Binev, Bulgaria, first time champion (did quite a performance
after his win, so they say), beating in the final Ibatake by uwatenage

middle weight: Takahama, 3rd time in a row champion, beating in the final
Eduard Grams from Germany

team events had the first round

Day 2

heavy weight: Joerg Brummer from Germany, winning in the final against
Nathaniel Kelawaka, who had beaten this years amateur yokozuna Kato in the
semi-final.
The first title for a German - Germany did well this time, good outlook for
next year

open category: Tamiya, the 2 times student yokozuna, winning in the final
against Mark Robertson (96 champion) from South Africa with hikiotoshi.
Tamiya was last years heavy weight champion.

team event: Japan winning 3:0 against the USA - all 7 team titles so far to
Japan

During the Hiroshima games 4 years ago, I can recall that NHK had karate
kata, just while Dejima was on for the team event (my tape from that time
switches, but in the end stays at karate - now I regret it).

Akinomaki - wait till ShoroiKuma-san gets back, he will give a fascinating
report, for sure
