In all fairness it should be pointed out that he has had plenty of speaking
engagements *outside* the Diet, if the posters I saw in Osaka last March
(and, I think, the year before) are anything to go by.

I still don't understand, however, why I have never once seen him in the
Corridors of Power - even though I tread them twice a week in the course of
my regular employment.
