To me, the most significant information in this list is the fact that
whopping 9 rikishi among top 20 have 12 or more missed matches. That is 45%
of the top 20 rikishi. 168 matches out of possible 1800 matches, if I count
it in simplest ways. That is 9.3% of best possible matches.

In addition, Futagoyama effect dedicated to 120 missed matches, and
Musashigawa effect dedicated to 36 missed matches. Altogether, 324 out of
1800 possible matches were gone in 1998. That is almost 20% (18% in fact) of
all possible matches.
