[sumo games & non-sumo] Tokyo in January! Request for info...

The good news for my family is that 3/4 of us will be in Tokyo for Days 11
thru 13 +/- during the January basho.  [Chanko, anyone?] From what I've read
here, there should not be a problem getting tickets at the Kokugikan each
morning, early, and we can just head upstairs as the day progresses...or is
a more sensible way advised?

The bad news is, this trip will wreak havoc with daily reports of January's
Upside Down hoshitori.  I can take the entries before I leave and of course
tabulate the ultimate results, but I won't be able to post stats daily
during the trip (at least, it's highly unlikely).  However, while I'm in
Japan, I do plan to acquire a variety of prizes for future winners!

We have great expectations for this short trip...I haven't been in Japan for
37 years!  We will be particularly interested in art -- classical and
popular.  If anyone can offer suggestions for me to locate old sumo cards
and old "die-cut menko" while I'm there, I would be most grateful.  (And
does anyone in Tokyo need anything from the SF Bay Area?)   Please contact
me off-list....
