I'm not the one managing Sumo ML, but I know how to answer to your
question/request.

You can do it by yourself, since Sumo ML is based on majordomo software.
Actually it is recommended to do it by yourself without posting your request
to the ML.

The standard procedure for leaving Sumo ML is:

To: majordomo@brooks.statgen.ncsu.edu
Subject: <will be ignored>

unsubscribe sumo susanneb@sqi.com
end
-----------------------

You could use this exact procedure for any ML using majordomo software.
Of course, you need to send to the right domain name and right ML group name.
