Hi Frederik, the basho in Australia took place in Melbourne and Sydney. I
believe that there were also bashos in San Jose, California and New York
City but I don't know the years.
The rikishi take part in many tv shows especially doing karaoke.
The Nagano Olympics was a very special occasion for them as they lead in all
of the athletes as well as performing the dohyo iri.
