Re: Kotonishiki

John:
Kotonishiki was ranked Higashi Sekiwake when he recorded 4-11 at Nagoya
in 1991. Then he was demoted to Higashi Maegashira 5-maime for Aki-basho
and he won his only yusho with 13-2 record. In Kyushu-basho, he recorded
12-3 and earned Shukun-sho at Komusubi, but his record dropped to 7-8
makekoshi the following Hatsu-basho, and he missed his biggest chance to
be promoted to Ozeki rank.
