Generally it is the stablemaster, but sometimes a senior yobidashi can give
a name. But in general, young yobidashi have their own given name or a
reference to it; or else to the heya name.

These are junior yobidashi (their duty, by the way, is called 'mizu-suke' -
'water-bucket') who have already done their duty of calling the bouts one
or two hours before. This public exposure is their first really exciting
job, the one that shows them and their families that they have really
arrived. But because they are young and unimportant, their names are not
announced - except in the English commentaries, when I am on - because I
know them all and I am delighted to tell the world who they are!
