Re: Finally, the Hoshitori results

Totoro-zeki:

Welcome back to the sumo-maniac ML.
Thank you for providing us with not only the last result but with our performance
from each single day of Haru-basho.

Honestly speaking, I was rather scared to see where I stand at the end of the
basho, since I know I did not fair well this time. But fortunately or
unfortunately to many of us, the basho was more unpredictable than most. And all
of us must felt we are in Makekoshi group. Me too, for sure, I thought.

But the genious rule of this Hoshitori Game is that at least one of us would be at
the top and about a half of us would be getting passing scores no matter most of
us picked so many makekoshi rikishi.

This time, I started browsed through from the bottom of the pile and I could not
find my shikona. And so I went back to the bottom again and failed to find my own
shikona again. At that time, I kind of get the inspiration of the fairness of this
game and finally I found my shikona among kachikoshi rikishi to my pleasant
surprise.

My scores over times was between 30 something and 80 something. Actually my worst
day of this basho was at 89 with 5-10 record, I found. But I crawled back to the
kachikoshi level toward the end of basho. This time I beat my rival rikishi by
small mergin, I noticed. This rikishi has been about the same level as I have been
most of the time. It was not an exception this basho, either. :)

Anyway, Totoro-zeki, thank you for giving us an extra excitement in rather quiet
between basho. I'm going back to fight against tax-preparation and I hope I could
use utchari technique. ;)
