Kyokai anounced the sumo schedule for April to June.

April 11 - Tickets Sale for Natsu-basho starts
April 27 - Natsu-basho Banzuke Announcement
May 1 - Yoko-Shin (Yokozuna Councel members observe official practice)
May 1 - physical exam for new applicants
May 8 - Torikumi arrangement starts
May 10 - Shonichi (Natsu-basho starts)
May 24 - Senshuraku (Natsu-basho ends)
May 25 - Yokozuna Councel Meeting
May 27 - Banzuke arrangement for Nagoya-basho
May 30 - Konishiki's Retirement Ceremony
May 31 - Wakashoyo's Retirement Ceremony
June 6&7 - Ozumo in Canada
June 13&14 - Ozumo Kachinuki Yusho-sen (a single elimination tornament)
