On the subject of at least one rikishi being next to the dohyo, it is 
apparently the case that a rikishi who thinks there is doubt in the 
gyoji's descision can put his hand up to request that the shimpanin 
discuss the bout, even if all the shimpanin stay seated.  However, I 
have never heard of this actually occuring....

Anybody know whether the above is true or not, and if it is ... has 
any rikishi dared try it?
