I like anextra when it comes or at least starts before the gyooji call of
"shobu ari" (the match is decided). After that, as in every martial art
contest, all action has to stop.
Chiyonofuji did something similar, his "uwatenage" had a (wolf-) special
twist, that crushed the opponent into the ground. As I recall an interview,
it was not necessary for the win but he did it because it looked good and
impressive and added the extra personal note to his style of sumo. No need
to add that the fans loved it.
