Sumo art

The "Japanese Arts of the Meiji Era (1868-1912)" exhibit
at the Smithsonian's Freer Gallery (Washington, DC)
through the 26th of April includes a pot by
by Okuda Shinsai 1821-1902, an ex sumo wrestler who made
pottery in Shigaraki.
