Retirement announcement

A few days ago the following message was sent to the list:

I must regretfully announce the retirement of Mushikuiyatsu. Mushikuiyatsu
had a stunning debut basho, grabbing the yusho to everyone's surprise
including his own. Every basho that he has since participated in he has
made kachikoshi, but his record has never been good enough to allow him to
advance beyond sekiwake. He's also missed quite a few basho due to
overindulgence in his other two great loves, entymology and cooking. In
fact it is these hobbies that he hopes to hereafter combine into a new
career. Keep your eyes and mouth open in the near future as a new kind of
izakaya chain hits your town like a locust swarm. Nigiri-zushi, kushikatsu,
okonomiyaki, chawan-mushi, yakimushi and, of course, chanko will all be on
the menu. All dishes guaranteed to to be high protein, low fat, and great
with dry sakes, wines and beers.
