        The critical phrase here is "for a little while". As i recall the
opening ceremonies in former olympics, the first teams to march in wind up
standing there for what seems like hours, waiting for the entry of all the
others, and the speeches/ceremonies to end. If the rikishi have to stand
there, holding the signs, and it is cold, especially cold and wet, they
could well be in a potentially dangerous situation. I hope they will be
allowed to scurry for warmth once their team is assembled in the stadium!>
