I wonder if he wasn't just annoyed with himself for looking so un-yokozuna-
like?  Whatever you want to say about Shu's sumo, (it certainly is unorthodox
at times) remember that sumo is a sport with few rules and a few prohibitions,
and Shu stays within those bounds.  So what was Nami's problem?  Part of it is
the whole lackluster half-heartedness that I sensed in this tourney.  I didn't
sense it at all at the one last October, or last year.  But this year there is
a strange wind in the air, or something.

I don't think this is considered jungyo.  They have these little 2-day
tourneys twice a year, and last year the one in Tokyo was on the weekend of
Feb 15 or thereabouts if I remember correctly.  Maybe they moved it earlier to
avoid conflict with the Olympics.  This is a tournament for money.
