well no word from Konishiki.....spoke with Yamato for a long time today,
but he has not heard from Sale since he entered the hospital in Nagoya, and
found out he as passing blood in his bowels, ouch.

Yamato tells me he is ready to kick ass this basho, which is a good thing.

No word from Akebono, but if his training continued, he should be in much,
much better shape this time out.

No word from Fia, but he is already healthy enough to win 8.

For those of you in Micronesia, please listen in tonight at 10PM, on Guam
Public Radio, when I call in to the Sumo Update, as the guest caller from
Japan. It is always heaps of fun, so listen in!

Finally made some changes to my homepage, just in the presentation format,
still scanning all the new content, please hold on a little longer.
