Nagoya Weekend Basho

Today I watched the final day in a two day basho held in Nagoya. In the
first day Wakanohana beat out Kotoryu to take the first day title. In the
second day Asahiyutaka beat out Akinoshima in the final match to take the
yusho. Wakanohana was beat out earlier in the day by Kotoinazuma.
Takanohana and Takanonami did not do as well as they usually do by losing
to maegashira rikishi. Sorry I forget which rikishi beat them out. 
Akebono, Musashimaru, Kaio and Musoyama did not participate probably due to
their injuries. This basho was just one of the small tournaments between
the September and November bashos.
I would also like to report that Dejima's hair is now long enough to form a
proper chonmage (topknot)!!
