Re: Konishiki on weight loss

In several interview I've observed, he said that it is rather easy to
lose weight when he is around with his wife in Tokyo. The weight problem
is her big concern too and she is willing to help him lose weight. But
the problem is when he is in jungyo and in non-Tokyo hon-basho. He likes
to visit his close friends he has in various places he visit regularly,
and fans and sponsors invite him. They love to entertain Konishiki-zeki
with his favorite foods as an expresison of the best hospitality.
Konishiki does not want to dissapoint them and fulfill their
expectation. Basically he is too nice a person to stay on the strict
diet his wife prepared for him while he is away from home.

After the retirement, he will spend much more time with his wife and a
lot easier to be on strict diet and lose weight, I bet.
