     I'm not so sure the crash was coincidental.  I've tried to open this 
     file twice and crashed both times.  I ended up deleting iyt.

You didn't look at the numbers.  Consider the growth rate -- 10 copies 
per recipient.  If you don't nip these things in the bud you'll be 
swimming in them.
     
The crash was at this stage likely coincidental :-)
