Day 9 : YOKOZUNA TAKANOHANA WINS AND KEEPS HIS LEAD !
Yokozuna Takanohana gave his pressure to the challenger Asanowaka
at the beginning. Aanowaka was pushed and stepped out of the dohyo easily!
Takanohana remained his one-loss score and maintained the leader position
in this basho.
Yokozuna Akeobno pushed out no.1 maegashira Tamakasuga. Tamakasuga
gave side ottsuke-pushing against yokozuna at the tachiai. Akebono
was out of balance, but he recovered soon. After that Akeobno gave
his powerful thrusts against Tamakasuga's face and pushed him out!
Ozeki Musashimaru beat sekiwake Kaio today. Musashimaru showed low
yotsu tachiai against Kaio. Kaio couldn't get his favorite grip and
Musashimaru kept moving forward. Musashimaru forced Kaio out easily!
The sumo pool bout : New sekiwake Tosanoumi and pepsi boy Takatoriki
hit head to head at the tachiai and Tosanoumi stepped side quickly.
And then Tosanoumi pushed Takatoriki out of the dohyo easily!
