Thanks for pointing this out, Ian. I was going to comment on that, 
but I decided to let it slide, since things seemed a bit unpleasant 
here for a few days...

The Hoshitori contest pre-dates the Internet Sumo Pool by a full two
years. And I didn't start it!! Credit all those who still run the "World 
Famous Sumo Pool" on Compuserve with that, OK ?

I hope we can co-exist as well. I can't see why not. Both contests rely 
on this mailing list. But as for wishing for "another healthy increase in 
players for the next basho", well, maybe if I had a clue about how to 
automate the sumo pool, I'd share that sentiment !! :)
