Last match in Osaka exhibition tournament

Thanks to today's newspapers, I can tell you now how it ended:

Final match: Musashimaru - Akebono.

Akebono had a left hand inside (hidarizashi) and a right hand outside
(migi-uate), and won by yorikiri.
The paper also mentioned a short statement of the yokozuna, who said he was
thinking about the last Basho and that it's been a while since he won a
tournament, therefore he was very happy now.

I would like to add something about yesterday's commentary; Wakamatsu
oyakata was asked if the public is different at the various places where the
basho are held. He said that Osaka always has the most noisy and lively
crowd - that it's clearly different from the crowd in Tokyo, usually more
reserved. The rikishi too seemed much more relaxed in this exhibition
tournament than in the hon-basho. Over all, a very nice show.

Vasile Antoce, Osaka.

P. S. There wasn't a direct meeting between the winners of the two days.

(Does anyone know if in the Japanese exhibitions, do they match the day one
(winner against the day two winner? They did this in Hawaii three years ago

(like the 2nd round, but came back to win the overall title.
