The irc.horizon.nl IRC server is sometimes down. If down use one of the
other servers.

When you connect to the IRC Uppernet servers "eagle.visi.com"
"rood.sci.kun.nl" "studs.sci.kun.nl"  or "irc.horizon.nl" just go to the
commands menu and click on join. Type #sumo and hit enter or OK.

Type hi, wait for a response from others if they are there. Eventhough
there are people there you will not see their previous conversation. You
start with a blank screen. Sometimes people are there but they do not
hear you enter, ping them and they will know someone is there.

If people are there you will see their names, if not you are the first
one there and only your name will show. Stick around a while and see if
anybody else shows up.

The last few days I have not connected. I will try and connect tonight
around 10pm EST. If anybody would like to connect to practice, connect
at that time.
