Getting Tickets
For the Nagoya Basho you can also get tickets by standing in line at
Mitsukoshi. Luckily for me my coworker was willing to take the 5:50 A.M.
train and stand in the rain to be number 47 in line - and get us tickets
for sanshuraku!!!
It is also possible to arrange to observe early morning practice. A JSL
program nearby goes every year. You'd probably have to claim to be part of
a Japanese culture study group or something, but that shouldn't be too hard
to arrange.
Anyway good luck to all searching for tickets,
Elin
