Thanks to all who give and then add to the answers to questions.  I had
always wondered what the ref was chanting during the match.  Had tried to
have my future daughter-in-law translate.  Her Japanese was good but she had
no knowledge of sumo so it didn't make much sense.  

I enjoy the give and take on this mailing list.  I didn't have any trouble
sending in my information - but then again, I have a listed phone too.
Maybe what we all need to remember is that people seem to dash stuff off in
e-mail and don't try for the most polite or non-threatening phrasing.

I tried out the IRC thing with David and it was fun and not too hard to
figure out what to do.  This will probably be a fun thing to do during the
next basho.
