My Japanese isn't too good, but doesn't "maki" also 
refer to a kind of sushi, as in "temaki" or "makizushi"?  
Which makes your new shikona (with its pleasing 
internal rhyme) sound like some kind of sushi to eat 
in the autumn. Yum!  This could be just the psychological/
gastronomical boost you need to rocket up in the 
standings this go-around.  GAMBARE!

BTW, thanks for always passing along the various 
sumo-related news items from NHK and so on.  Bummer 
about Konishiki if he has to sit out due to the flu.  And 
was there ever any follow-up story on the guy who was 
missing from his beya since the Kyushu basho?
