Wow, a thousand thanks for printing all the names in 
the hoshitori.  Larfed--I cried.  Don't even need to know 
ANY Japanese to appreciate some of the inventions. 
Really wonderful.   

By perusing the list, I found that the clever retro name 
suggested for me by Mr. SumoNow!, BAKAHANADA,
is verboten because it's a "retired" shikona.  The search 
continues...  

Also fascinating have been all the posts from members 
explaining the source of their shikona.  Some might not 
need much elaboration (like Sonibono or Okidoki!) but 
others, like Kashuyama et al, benefit from explanation 
and enhance our appreciation of your choices.  Please 
keep those coming, it's nice to be able to give your 
online personas some dimension, don'tcha think?
