Strictly speaking, dosanko is Hokkaido-native horses, and
then used for Hokkaido-native people like me.

So, you must have a lot of Ika-meshi in Hakodate.
Was it before or after opening of Seikan Tunnel, when you
were there? There is an only Western-style castle in 
Japan, called Goryokaku, and the most northern Japanese
castle in Matsumae, Catholic churches and Russian
Orthodox church, Trapist and Trapistin, etc.

I've heard that Fukushima was building a sumo museum
dedicated to two yokozuna from the town, Chiyonoyama
and Chiyonofuji. 

I wonder if it has opened or not.
