======================================
Jon,
Now I'm sure I am among fiends. I mean, friends.
John E. threw out the shikona challenge, and
appropriately another shameless PUNSTER rises
to the occasion. (So much for your wondering
aloud whether this subject is "too silly" for the list,
John E. Nothing is too silly to be made pun of.)
I'm thrilled to know sumo aficianados can be
roused by more than statistics.
I must reject right at the top the suggestions which
include "kuso" and the like. Yeeew. Who wants
to be tagged with just a one-laugh bathroom moniker?
Sad to confess BAKAYARO is a term with which I am
more than personally familiar from days of yore, or my,
as the case may be, but it's best not to dwell FOOLishly
in the past.
>All hip shikona have "inazuma" in them somewhere.
>I have already rejected In-a-gadda-azuma, so no need
>to bring it up.
Ha! Can't resist returning the the scene of your last
word crime. Too bad those without a very rude-imentary
knowledge of Japanese can't appreciate how truly bad
(if a pun lover, read "most excellent") your suggestions
are.
>Again, deepest apologies.
Really, it's better to flush these thoughts right out
... thus clearing the way for the next brain/drainstorm.
I shall continue to take your suggestions and those
of others under advisement.
Yers humbly,
Faux Baka
