Last night I happened to be sitting up late and Fuji TV
had a note about it on their news. Seems that yesterday
was only some kind of promotional day for the upcoming
actual event. Which, knowing the Fuji sponsors this each
year, would make it a Saturday and Sunday tournament that
comes up sometime this month. It's probably this coming
weekend. Anyhow, what occurred yesterday was more like a
big tea social for sumo fans. The participating rikishi
were drawing slots for their initial opponents, etc. You
didn't miss anything yet!
