They also came to Honolulu in the early 1980s -- 1982 or thereabouts --
also at the Blaisdell.  They sumo-ed for a week and it was great, but
attendance was disappointing.  This in spite of the fact that the most
expensive ticket, dohyo-side, was $15.  Which probably explains why
they stayed away for over ten years.
