Taifu (admin-related)

Sumoans,

We had a hurricane pass through the area last night.  Raleigh is
a mess.  About the only place in Raleigh that has electricity is
the NCSU Campus. It sure was fun finding a clear path to school on
the roads this morning.  Thank you, Hurricane Fran.   

I think we were cut off netwise from the rest of the
world for 12 hours, so if you posted something to the list and
it bounced, that's why.  

Just a reminder,  majordomo@esssjp.stat.ncsu.edu is no longer
the Majordomo server.  The actual server is majordomo@tosca.gnets.ncsu.edu.
The sumo list is also on tosca.  esssjp still has aliases that redirect
mail to tosca, but it will be gone in a couple of weeks.  I noticed that
a few web pages still tell people to send subscribe requests to 
majordomo@esssjp.stat.ncsu.edu (or majordomo@essspg.stat.ncsu.edu).
These should be changed.   

Also, you can email me at basten@stat.ncsu.edu from now on.  


Has any rikishi ever taken the shikona of Taifu?  Or would that be
too atsukamashii (audacious, and feel free to correct my Japanese)?
