Internet Sumo Pool
Hi Sumophiles,
I just thought I should let everybody know that the clerical duties
for the
internet side of the Sumo Pool seem to have been passed to me. Thanks to
Mike, Greg and Graham for opening this up to the internet at large. I don't
plan
to change anything from last time, except that I'll probably post everybody's
picks around deadline time (still 10:30PM PST, 0530 UTC), and probably have
about an hour "grace period", in case anyone's entry didn't make it in. If
there
is an error, please point them out. I'll put the last entry for each
participant on floppy, so that I don't lose them. Go ahead and change your
mind, if you need to, before the daily deadline. Please don't overwhelm me
with changes, though.
Ok, now you're saying- "Where's are the rankings from the last basho?"
Give me a day or two, and I'll post them here, as well as to a website. Totoro
and Ian Frank have kindly permitted me to use the system used for the Hoshitori
contest. I now just need to work it out.
Three rikishi- Ahonoumi, Bjornmaru and Okikuma, dropped out from the
last basho. If any of you are reading this, please let me know if you want
to be included
in the banzuke.
Hey, this has gotten way too long. Feel free to write. Let me know
if you want to enter, and let me know your shikona (fighting name). Rules
are easy, but I'll
remind everyone of them when I post the banzuke.
Dale
"Bobokuni"
P.S. (like you wanna read more <g>)- The results of the last (and first)
basho are posted at http://www.oz.net/~drc/spl.html.
