I've also heard that one of the pay TV services in Oz is running NHK.  I'm
not sure of the price, which service or what times, but it's out there. 
For those in Perth, who can't afford a pay TV subscription, I recently
noticed a sign in The Japanese Bookshop (off Hay St.), about a restaurant,
that has a live satellite feed of the sumo.  I think the deal was that you
pay for a coffee or tea and can sit there and watch.  The place was in Bon
Marche Arcade (just off Barrack St., down from Cinema City), but can't
remember the name.  I'll get the full details before the next basho, and
will definitely be having a look in there on a weekend during the next
basho.  Also good luck and best wishes to Greg Lund for the efforts in
getting a tournament down this way.  If he needs any support I'm sure
there are more than a few Aussies on this list that would be willing to
lend a hand.
