Err. I'm having difficulty remembering. When rikishi come on TV they
are usually wearing either a very smart yukata, a black formal man's
kimono with all the trimmings or a smart but brighter man's kimono. I
think Takanohana was wearing the latter.

Many are big kids. I think some are on special diet's from an early
age though. I'm sure that Takanohana & Wakanohana were expected from
an early age to enter Sumo. Musoyama's father, a keen sumo fan, wanted
him to enter sumo and started him training from an early age.

No, he didn't take it down. One of the girls in the audience asked
this as nobody usually sees rikishi with their hair down.
